Momma's Sugar Cookies
April 22, 2013
This recipe goes out to my sister Shay over at Chef Dopp's Cookbook, she asked me to post it tonight as she is in need of it. I will be adding pictures the next time I make these cookies. I call these "Momma's Sugar Cookies" because I actually got this recipe from my momma, and they are my absolute favorite sugar cookies! Growing up, I would always beg my mom for us to make sugar cookies. It was one of my favorite things to do with her. It's a great mother-child activity because every kid loves to roll out dough and use cookie cutters to cut out their favorite shapes. I love making them at holidays and using holiday shaped cookie cutters such as witches, cats, or stars and Christmas trees. The best part is that the taste of these cookies are enjoyed by everybody. They have a perfect, soft texture. And taste the very best when paired with a simple homemade frosting. This recipe is linked up at "What's In Your Kitchen Wednesdays" Link Party.
