Delicious Double Chocolate Brownies
April 24, 2013
Do you ever have those days where you are just craving chocolate? I know I do. They may not happen as often as other women because I'm actually not always the biggest chocolate lover, but there are definitely days where it is absolutely heavenly. I have tried out multiple brownie recipes, and finally I have found one that I want to stick with. They have that slight crunch on the outside, yet super moist and chewy on the inside, and extra chocolatey. Mmmm. A little bit of double chocolate heaven in every bite.
Delicious Double Chocolate Brownies
1 cup butter; melted
3 cups white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
6 oz chopped semisweet chocolate OR
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Bake @ 350 for 35-40 min.
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Combine butter and sugar
3. Add eggs and vanilla
4. Combine flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda in separate bowl
5. Slowly mix in flour mixture
6. Fold in the semisweet chocolate
7. Spray a 13x9 baking pan with nonstick spray and dust with flour
8. Pour and spread brownie batter into pan (brownie batter will be thick)
9. Bake for 35-40 minutes
Then lick all the chocolatey goodness from the bowl! And maybe, just maybe, share it with your kids...
*A word of advice, use a pan with taller sides. My pan's sides are
about 2 inches tall and the brownies go right to the tippy top. Anything
shorter and it would overflow. That's how awesome these brownies are.*
